Senior Planning Enforcement Officer
A Local Authority in East Anglia is looking for an experienced Senior Planning Enforcement Officer to join on an interim basis. This will be for a 3-month period with a view to extend.
About The Role
To play an active role in aiding and facilitating the work of the Development Management Enforcement Team, including investigating breaches of Planning Control, Enforcement Appeals, Monitoring of Planning Conditions and any other matters deemed appropriate by the Planning Manager or Assistant Director for Place and Environment.
This role will require an office presence of twice a week.
About The Candidate
The right candidate will have:
· Knowledge of current Planning issues, Government legislation and guidance, etc.
· Good verbal communication skills with clients both on the telephone and in person.
· Planning qualification.
· Planning Appeal work, in particular Hearings and Inquiries.
