Principal Planning Officer
A Local Authority in Hertfordshire is looking for an experienced Principal Planning Officer to join their team on an interim basis. This is for an initial 6-month contract with view to extend.
About The Role
My client is looking for a Development Management planner with experience of Strategic Sites. The candidate will need to be able to work independently with limited supervision, with a track record of dealing with such sites at both pre-application and application stages. A strong negotiator is required, who is able to communicate articulately via both written and spoken mediums. The contractor must have strong time management skills and be able to balance a varied and complex workload. Significant experience of writing officer reports and presenting at committee is essential. The right candidate will either RTPI member or eligible to join.
About The Candidate
The right candidate will have extensive experience of working as a Principal Planning Officer or above within a Local Authority.
