Environmental Health Officer

A local authority in the West Midlands is looking for an Environmental Health Officer to join their team until March 2027 with a view to extend.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Environmental Health Officer to assist with a shortage in their team.

The client is looking for a candidate to investigate commercial statutory nuisance, waster and commercial drainage. They will be required to be confident with undertaking noise monitoring, responding to licensing applications, renewals and reviews. The role will be split between the office and home working with the client being open to flexible working arrangements.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will hold one of the following: a Diploma in Environmental Health awarded by the EHRB or REHIS, a degree in Environmental Health, a Master’s degree in Environmental Health or a Diploma in Acoustics & Noise Control. The client is happy to consider applicants who are not chartered but have experience within the Environmental Health/Protection field.
