Development Management Team Leader
A Local Authority in East Anglia is looking for an experienced Planner to join on an interim basis. This will be for a 3-month period with a view to extend.
About The Role
My client is seeking to employ a qualified and experienced individual who has the ability to lead and support a team of Planning staff through a busy period and temporary management absence.
You will be required to provide timely and effective guidance, ensuring compliance, good practice, risk management, and enabling the Council to deliver for its customers seeking or interacting with Development Management services. The role would support the existing Team Leader and will also involve carrying a small caseload of Major applications/Pre-applications and PPA (Planning Performance Agreements).
This role will require an office presence of one-two times per week.
About The Candidate
The right candidate will be a qualified planner and have experience leading a Development Management team.
