Team Leader Enforcement and Conservation

A local authority in the South East of England is looking for a Team Leader to join their team on an initial 6 month basis with a view to extend.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Team Leader to oversee operations with the Planning Enforcement and Conservation teams.

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running to mentor and oversee a group of Senior and Principal Enforcement Officers as well as assisting with Planning Conservation cases. They will be working with a team of planners with fantastic team culture and reporting directly to the Head of Planning and Head of Service. Due to the location of the authority, the candidate may be required to have a driver’s licence to conduct site visits more easily.

The role will be split between the office and home working and the role would require a balance of the two.  

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and experience at a Principal or Managerial level or experience of managing a Planning team. Experience with Planning Enforcement and Conservation is also desired.
