Head of Planning – Greater Manchester £650/day

A local authority in Greater Manchester is looking for a Head of Planning with proven experience of managing a large service or having experience within a Head of Planning role.

About The Role

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running in providing leadership and day to day management of all aspects of the planning department, working closely with the Development Management, Policy and Enforcement Managers. This role will be working closely with the Director of Place, assisting with MP briefings, Executive board and Executive Cabinet Planning matters

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience working at a Head of Planning level or have extensive experience managing a large service, with knowledge on all aspects of Town Planning preferred.
