Principal Policy Officer  - £45-55/h

A local authority in the East Midlands of England is looking for a Principal Policy Officer to join their team on an initial 6 month basis.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Principal Policy Officer to come in and work on an accelerated timescale.

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running to assist with taking a Local Plan to it's final stages in accordance with the June 2025 deadline. A quick turnaround is needed for this role and being ale to work independently with speed is essential.

There will be some responsibility in mentoring junior staff so experience with this is preferable.

The Authority are looking for an office presence once a week to create a cohesive team experience.

The offered rate is £45-55/h depending on experience.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and experience in Local Authority Policy Departments at a Principal level.

When
