Policy Manager - South East

A local authority in the South East is looking for a Policy Manager to join their team for a 3 year contract.

About The Role

The client is looking for a candidate to conduct the following

- Looking for an experienced Policy Manager who has a proven track record in delivery on key policy workstreams and products.
- A Policy Manager who is able to help build the Local plan from scratch
- They will be responsible for briefing senior officers and councillors to gain their commitment and understanding on projects you'll be leading on along with displaying Excellent technical skills and experience, ideally working on Local Plan development and a range of evidence base studies. 

The role will be split between the office and home working however the client is open to incredible flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and on their way to accreditation. The client is happy to consider applicants who are not chartered but have experience within the Planning field.
