Senior Building Control Surveyor

A local authority in Central England is looking for a Building Control Consultant to join their team on an initial 3 month basis with a view to extend.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Building Control Consultant to assist with a shortage in their team.

The client is looking for a candidate to conduct site visits ideally to conduct site visits on residential and commercial buildings. They will be required to be confident with Building Regulations with regards to Fire safety, public health, energy conservation and accessibility. In addition, you will also required to check Plans.

The role will be split between the office and home working with the client being open to flexible working arrangements.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by either RICS, CABE, CIOB or a HNC, HND or a degree, or an equivalent qualification in building studies or a related subject. The client is happy to consider applicants who are not chartered but have experience within the Building Control field.
