Development Management Manager - South East

A local authority in the South East is looking for a Development Management Manager to join their team on an initial 6 month basis with a view to extend.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Planning Officer to assist with a shortage in their team.

The client is looking for a candidate with the listed below:

  • Extensive local government experience of running a DM team
  • Good quality references which can be shared now
  • Good stints of employment at permanent and interim positions
  • Someone who is committed to working hard and help deliver transformation change, including repairing a Service that needs significant improvement
  • Someone who is willing to help me deliver the existing DM Improvement Plan
  • Not worried by the Tandridge reputation
  • Attendance at the office at least 3 days per week
  • Car access
  • Able to commence work in April. 
  • Able to work full-time – 5 days per week.
  • Able to commit for a 6 month period.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and on their way to accreditation. The client is happy to consider applicants who are not chartered but have experience within the Planning field.
