Senior Planning Officer

A local authority in the East Midlands is looking for a Senior Planning Officer to join their team on an initial 6 month basis.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Senior Planning Officer to join the Development Management team, primarily assisting with a backlog of planning applications.

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running to deal with a backlog of minor applications. Knowledge on major applications is not necessary but would be desireable. This role may require a valid driving license as you will need to carry out site visits. This role will be a hybrid model, working remotely with some office presence required.

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and experience at a Senior level in local authority Development Management Departments.
