Planning Policy Officer – East Midlands - £40/h

A local authority in the East Midlands is looking for a Planning Policy Officer to join their team on an initial 6 month basis with a view to extend.

About The Role

I am working exclusively with this client as they are looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running in assisting with the production of the annual Residential Land Availability Report and Employment Land Availability Report. This role will mostly involve the interrogation of relevant council planning data and data entry to compile the necessary reports.

Office presence is very flexible for this role, but site visits will be required once every two to three weeks.

There is a lot of opportunity in this role for a junior member to learn the skills to take a step up, working within a supportive and experienced team.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge covering the above aspects of Planning Policy and have some experience working within Local Authority Planning Policy Departments..

When

The client is looking to interview and proceed with the right candidate as soon as possible, with a start date preferred before the end of March, with flexibility for the right candidate..
