Planning Officer

A local authority in Yorkshire is looking for a Planning Consultant to join their team on an initial 3 month basis with a view to extend.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Planning Officer to assist with a shortage in their team.

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running to deal with a mixed caseload of minors and mediums. They will be working with a team of planners with fantastic team culture and comradery. Due to the location of the authority, the candidate may be required to have a driver’s licence to conduct site visits more easily.

The role will be split between the office and home working however the client is open to incredibly flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and on their way to accreditation. The client is happy to consider applicants who are not chartered but have experience within the Planning field.

When

The client is looking to interview and proceed with the right candidate as soon as possible.
