Principal Policy Officer  - £45-55/h

A local authority in the South East of England is looking for a Principal Policy Officer to join their team on an initial 3 month basis with likelihood of extension.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Principal Policy Officer to come in and work on an accelerated timescale.

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running to assist then at a critical stage of their Local Plan, aidin them prepping material for the reg18. A quick turnaround is needed for this role and being ale to work independently with speed is essential.

There will be some responsibility in mentoring junior staff so experience with this is preferable.

The Authority are looking for an office presence once a week to create a cohesive team experience.

The offered rate is £45-55/h depending on experience.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and experience in Local Authority Policy Departments at a Principal level.
