Principal Planning Officer - Central England

A local authority in Central England is looking for a Principal Planning Officer to join their team on an initial 6 month basis, with a likely view to extend to up to 12 months.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Principal Planner to predominantly deal with major applications.

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running to deal with a varied caseload of applications, from majors to complex majors . Experience in dealing with sign- off, and PPA is also what they are looking for. They need someone who is able to come help with the case load as they have recently undergone a temporary internal restructure. They could be willing to take on a Senior Planning Officer who has the appropriate experience.

They are asking for one day in the office a weeek at minimum with anything more being a bonus.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and experience at Senior or Principal level.

When

The client is looking to interview and proceed with the right candidate as soon as possible. Interview commensing the week of the 4th of March, with prospective start day not too far behind!
