A local authority in London is looking for a Major Projects Planner which includes specialising in Major Projects to join their team on an initial 6 month basis with a view to extend.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Major Projects planner to assist with their team.

The client is looking for a candidate to conduct the following:

The role requires someone who is able to carry out schemes up to about 500 units.

Direct responsibility for managing large scale major and complex strategic schemes on sites within the Authority. Direct responsibility for managing a caseload of large scale major and complex strategic schemes.

Representing the Council on appeal and attending appeal site visits and attending planning committee meetings on planning matters.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and on their way to accreditation. The client is happy to consider candidates with experience in planning relating to development management, a clear written and verbal communication skill set. Applicants who are not chartered but have experience within the Planning field are welcomed to apply.
