Head of Planning - East Anglia - £550 (DOE)

A local authority in East Anglia is looking for a Head of Planning to join their team on an initial 6 month basis with a view to extend.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Head of Planning to manage the entire planning team. Including managing the Development Management, Policy, Enforcement and Conservation Team.

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running to manage a large team, as the current Head of Planning is looking leave at the end of February. So they are hoping for someone to join mid February to have a few weeks hand over with the current Head of Planning to properly familiarise with the expected duties. Due to the expectation of the role they are looking for someone who is able to come into the office fairly regularly, with at least 2 days in the office per week.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and on their way to accreditation. The client is happy to consider applicants who are not chartered but they need to have extensive experience at this level.
