Anti-Social Behaviour & Safeguarding Officer

Location: Devon (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)

Rate: £30

Contract: 3 Months

Hours: 37 hours per week

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour & Safeguarding Officer to join a Local Authority on an initial 3-month contract.

The role will involve managing complex ASB and safeguarding cases, coordinating multi-agency responses and leading enforcement activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex ASB and safeguarding cases.
• Coordinate with Police, Local Authorities and partner agencies.
• Prepare CPWs, CPNs, AB contracts and legal files.
• Lead multi-agency problem-solving meetings.
• Prepare evidence for court and attend proceedings where required.
• Provide specialist ASB advice and support.

Requirements

• Strong ASB and safeguarding experience.
• Experience with enforcement and preparing court files.
• Good knowledge of ASB and safeguarding legislation.
• Strong communication, negotiation and partnership-working skills.
• Enhanced DBS required
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle advantageous.
