Principal Planning Officer
A Local Authority in East Anglia is looking for an experienced Principal Planning Officer to join on an interim basis. This will be for an initial 6-month contract.
About The Role
You will join the council’s planning team, working with friendly and supportive colleagues and will be involved in a wide variety of planning work relating to the future growth of our borough with a particular emphasis on dealing with major and strategic planning applications.
About The Candidate
- Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute
- Knowledge and understanding of planning legislation and regulations
- Previous experience of managing major planning applications
- Previous experience leading on appeals
- Strong organisation and communication skills
