Principal Planning Officer
A Local Authority in East Anglia is looking for an experienced Principal Planner to join on an interim basis. This will be for a 6-month period with a view to extend.
About The Role
You will be involved in a wide variety of planning work relating to the future growth of our borough with a particular emphasis on dealing with major and strategic planning applications. A keen collaborator and team player, you may also have the opportunity to work across the planning function of the Council including the planning policy and enforcement teams. As a strong communicator, verbal and written, you will undertake all areas of planning for the local authority, including attending developer meetings and planning committees.
This role will require an office presence of once a week.
About The Candidate
The right candidate will have previous experience working on major applications.
