Planning Technical Support Team Leader
A Local Authority in Central England is looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join on an interim basis. This will be for a 6-month period with a view to extend.
About The Role
To manage the work of the Development Management Technical Support Team, responsible for providing an efficient and effective technical support service to Development Management, ensuring it meets statutory requirements and national and local targets and which contributes positively to the future of each District. To deal with all technical & IT information, validation, land charge searches and administrative/ clerical support relating to the most complex and controversial pre-applications, applications and appeals and/or enforcement cases, including those of a corporate priority to the Council and of national, regional and district significance and/or those of a complex/controversial nature and likely to result in significant local infrastructure contributions.
This role will require an office presence of two days a week.

The right candidate will have experience leading a Planning Technical Support team.
