Principal Planning Officer
A Local Authority in Central England is looking for a Principal Planning Officer to join on an interim basis. This would be on an initial 6 month contract with a view to extend.
About The Role
My client is looking for an experienced contractor to ensure immediate support to help us deal with a variety of minor and major developments across the District including the possibility of working on Development Consent Order applications and potentially to help us with implementing improvements to the planning service. The suitable candidate will need to be experienced with both urban and rural related development and ideally have a specialism of working on Development Consent Order applications (although we will consider candidates without that experience).
The role has flexible office presence.
About The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification.
